Hamline Avenue. <br /> <br />Mr. Toupal is requesting a shoreline permit and variance to allow <br />him to build an attached garage to his existing house at 3082 N. <br />Hamline Avenue. The proposed garage would be located 82 feet from <br />the lake and meet all setback and lakeshore requirements. The <br />existing house, which this garage is being attached to, is located <br />only 60 feet from the lake instead of the required 75 feet. <br />Therefore, a variance is necessary because the existing house is <br />non-conforming and they seek to expand the structure by adding the <br />garage. <br /> <br />City staff has reviewed the proposal and finds it to be acceptable. <br /> <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to approve Scott Toupal request <br />for a shoreline permit and variance at <br />3082 N. Hamline Avenue. <br />
