EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 7th day of April, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe; and and the following members were absent: None. Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 11139 RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF SKILLMAN AVENUE WEST FROM FAIRVIEW AVE NORTH TO WEST SNELLING DRIVE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, Skillman Ave between Fairview Ave and West Snelling Drive is a Municipal State Aid Highway; AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be repaved using Municipal State Aid Highway funds and the repaving of such roadways must conform to established Municipal State Aid Highway standards; AND WHEREAS, the current width and striped use of Skillman Ave is not sufficient for on street parking on both sides according to State Aid standards; AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet standards for on street parking; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that parking is hereby prohibited along the north side of Skillman Avenue West from Fairview Ave North to West Snelling Drive; The motion was duly seconded by Member Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe; and the following voted against: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
