EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on 7th day of April, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe the <br /> following members were absent: None. <br /> Member McGehee introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 11141 <br /> RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING ON <br /> OAKCREST AVE FROM FRY STREET NORTH TO SNELLING AVENUE SERVICE <br /> ROAD AND ON SNELLING AVENUE SERVICE ROAD FROM OAKCREST AVE TO <br /> SNELLING AVE NORTH <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Oakcrest Avenue between Fry Street North and Snelling Avenue Service Drive and <br /> Snelling Avenue Service Drive between Oakcrest Avenue and Snelling Avenue are Municipal <br /> State Aid Highways; <br /> AND WHEREAS, such roadways are proposed to be repaved using Municipal State Aid <br /> Highway funds and the repaving of such roadways must conform to established Municipal State <br /> Aid Highway standards; <br /> AND WHEREAS, the current width of such roadways is not sufficient for on street parking <br /> according to State Aid standards; <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation requires a resolution from the <br /> governing body designating a parking restriction in the event the roadway does not meet <br /> standards for on street parking; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Roseville, that: <br /> 1. Parking is hereby prohibited along both sides of Oakcrest Avenue from Fry <br /> Street North to Snelling Ave Service Road. <br /> 2. Parking is hereby prohibited along both sides of Snelling Avenue Service <br /> Road from Oakcrest Avenue to Snelling Avenue. <br /> The motion was duly seconded by Member Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br /> following voted in favor thereof: McGehee, Willmus, Laliberte, Etten, and Roe; and the <br /> following voted against: None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
