Please review the plans and highlight the following <br />conditions which pertain to this project. If you have additional comments~ please respond <br />in the space provided. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. <br /> <br />(l) Excav . n close structu cation <br />A minimum distance of feet of supported earth must be maintained from any <br />part of the transmission line structure. support of the ground beyond the <br />feet may be provided by a slope no greater than three feet horizontal to one foot <br />vertical. support may also be provided by the use of cribbing. sheet pil ing, <br />retaining wall or tunneling. The specific plan for providing the required support and <br />the excavation plan for the proposed project must be submitted to NSP for review and <br />approval. <br /> <br />(2) Grade change around structure location <br />Fill around or above steel structure foundations is not permitted. gß Fill around <br />wood pole structures may be permitted upon submitting plans and subsequent written <br />approval of NSP. The grade around the structures must provide for surface water <br />runoff _ no surface water ponding around structures will be permitted. Any cost <br />related to the adjustment of NSP's facilities will be at the requesters expense. <br /> <br />(3) fill and 9rade change around Q~Y wires and a~~ <br />Fill above the steel anchor rod onto the guy wire is not permitted. The specific plan <br />for any grade change or excavation in the vicinity of down guys and anchors must be <br />submitted to NSP for review and approval. <br /> <br />~ Grade chanae within e~sement, ~~~ <br />~ The ground elevation within the easement shall not be increased above"· c:,"""'net <br />mean sea level, 1929 adjustment or above the existing or proposed grade. Stockpiling <br />of soil and/or material within the easement will not be permitted. <br /> <br />~çlearances to eQu;pment~ <br />~ A working clearance 0 ~ t> .~ feet between the electrical conductors and any cranes <br />or digging equipment u r near the easement, must be maintained at all times. <br />If this clearance cannot be maintained, the contractor or developer must arrange for <br />a line outage by calling NSP's System control Department (Jim Palashewski 330-6134 or <br />61~S). At least two weeks advanced notice must be provlded in order to schedule a <br />line outage. There is a fee of approximately $350 per day for this service. This fee <br />must be paid prior to outage. <br /> <br />(6) landscapin9 within t~a easement <br />Detailed plans for landscaping (including light standards) must be submitted to NSP <br />for review and approval. Generally shorter varieties of trees and shrubs may be <br />considered. If planting is permitted, the line/s voltage and the tree/s mature height <br />and the distance from the line must be considered.
