The design of this rence is by state engineers to withstand a <br />wind I()ad of 16 pounds per square toot. viking fence did not <br />participate in the design of this and does not warrant its design. It <br />1s the experience of the state and Viking Fence that this is an <br />e~trê~~ly stable rlesiqn and we have had no problems with it. <br /> <br />&truc~ura~ ~imb.r & Lumber <br />All members shown on the drawings are actual dimensions. We will <br />furnish treated st.ructural timber and lumber conforming to the sizes <br />shown c)n the drawings. <br /> <br />All timber and lUltber furnished shall receive wood preservative <br />treatment using chromatic copper arsenate with a minimum retention of <br />.40 <br /> <br />~gnstruc:tion <br />All vertical memb..rs will be 8"X8"x18' treáted posts, set in a 52" <br />concrete tootin9 as shown on the drawings. All pre-bored toot!n9s will <br />be f 11 J ad with 4 j,nches of class 5 &CJ9reqate at the base to provide a <br />stab1 e base for ttle posts.
