Melville <br />1194 Skillman Avenue <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: STREET CONSTRUCTION/DRIVEWAY SETBACK, CITY PROJECT P-91-03 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Melville: <br /> <br />As part of the upcoming street project on Skillman Avenue, the <br />city Engineering Department has examined all driveways for <br />setback and code compliance. <br /> <br />The City of Roseville requires that all driveways be brought into <br />compliance with city code during a permanent street upgrading. <br />Driveways must be a minimum of five feet from neighboring <br />property lines and extend a minimum of 20 feet onto private <br />property. Currently, the west edge of your driveway is less than <br />one foot from your west property line. In order to comply with <br />city code, this must be re-built to a point five feet from your <br />west property line, or you may apply to vary from city code by a <br />"minor variance." I have enclosed an application for a minor <br />variance if you would prefer this option.
