Eugene House wishes to add an 11x14 foot addition onto the <br />rear of his existing dwelling at 468 Woodruff Avenue. The <br />proposed addi tion would have a 20 foot rear yard setback <br />instead of the required 30 feet. <br /> <br />3. The Minor Variance Committee unanimously recommended approval <br />of the variance to allow the 20 foot rear yard setback <br />because of the unusual pie shape configuration of the lot <br />and the extreme grades on the site. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the variance and require the dwelling to remain in <br />conformance with the ordinance. <br /> <br />2. Approve the variance as requested based on findings that a <br />hardship exists. <br /> <br />Policy Obiective: <br /> <br />1. To insure that structures conform to the requirements of the <br />zoning ordinance. <br /> <br />2. To grant variances where it is demonstrated that a hardship <br />or practical difficulty exists. <br /> <br />3.
