City ordinances require that the City must approve a <br />shoreline permit before any building permits can be issued <br />for construction on lots that abut lakes. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Earl Dahlberg has requested a shoreline permit to allow <br />him to construct an 18X24 foot deck onto the rear of his <br />existing dwelling at 561 Heinel Drive. The proposed deck <br />will be 100 feet from the lake. The proposal meets all <br />shoreline ordinance requirements. <br /> <br />Policy objectives: <br /> <br />1. To maintain and protect lakes by controlling development <br />along the shore. <br /> <br />2. To insure that structures are built in accordance with the <br />city's shoreline management ordinance. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council approve Earl <br />Dahlberg's request for shoreline permit at 561 Heine1 Drive. <br /> <br />Council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to approve Earl Dahlberg's request for a shoreline <br />building permit at 561 Heinel Drive. <br />
