Covert <br />1276 county Road B <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: STREET CONSTRUCTION/DRIVEWAY SETBACK, CITY PROJECT P-91-02-57 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Covert: <br /> <br />As part of the upcoming street project on oellwood Avenue, the <br />city Engineering Department has examined all driveways for <br />setback and code compliance. <br /> <br />The City of Roseville requires that all driveways be brought into <br />compliance with city code during a permanent street upgrading. <br />Driveways must be a minimum of five feet from neighboring <br />property lines, be no wider than 26 feet, and extend a minimum of <br />20 feet onto private property. CUrrently, the south edge of your <br />driveway is less than five feet from your south property line. <br />Also, the present width of this driveway is approximately 47 feet <br />which is 21 feet wider than code allows. <br /> <br />In order to comply with city code, it is suggested to reconstruct <br />the driveway as depicted in Exhibit A,or you may apply to vary <br />from city code by a -minor variance."
