<br />797 West Sextant Avenue <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br />April 12, 1991 <br /> <br />To the Minor Variance Committee: <br /> <br />We request approval of the following setback variances: <br /> <br />West Side Lot Line - Current setback 5 feet <br />Proposed variance 11 inches <br /> <br />South Front Lot Line - Current setback 30 feet <br />Proposed variance 6 inches <br /> <br />These variances are necessary to accomodate the expansion <br />of a single car garage to a double car garage and will <br />allow for a future family room. <br /> <br />The two car garage will provide needed storage space for <br />vehicles and will provide protection for other personal <br />belongings. It will enhance the home's appearance and <br />will increase it's marketability. The garage expansion <br />will also bring the home up to the standard of' the <br />neighborhood since a majority of the surrounding homes <br />have two car gar'ages. In the past, many homeowners <br />received variances to expand their garages. <br /> <br />The future family room addition, planned for 1992-93, <br />will be built into the garage a distance of' 2 feet to <br />allow for adequate access to the new room.
