<br />PLANNING APPLICATION NARRATIVE <br /> <br />A Shoreline Permit is needed to acquire a Building Permit to allow <br />the erection of a prefabricated 3 season porch on the concrete patio <br />that forms the roof on the lakeside of my home at 513 Heinel <br />Drive, This reinforced concrete roof-patio covers two bedrooms and <br />hallways located on the lower level of my home and is 31 feet <br />wide and 12 feet 8 inches deep, The proposed 3 season porch will <br />be 19 feet wide and 12 feet deep and will not project out beyond <br />the boundaries of the present house, The street side wall of the <br />porch will be the lakesde wall of the upper level of our home and <br />the roof of the porch will attach to and blend in with the roof of <br />the upper level of our home, Our home and non attached garage <br />are located on a lot 96 by 120 feet, This will continue to be our <br />home and the addition of the porch will allow us to use the patio <br />during conditions when an open patio is not enjoyable; i.e, rain, <br />wind, mosquitos. The porch will also form an effective wind <br />barrier for our living room and will reduce the energy required <br />for both heating and cooling the rest of the house, <br /> <br />George H.
