Koay <br />1225 Eldridge Avenue <br />Roseville, MN 55113 <br /> <br />RE: STREET CONSTRUCTION/DRIVEWAY SETBACK, CITY PROJECT P-91-02-57 <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Koay: <br /> <br />As part of the upcoming street project on Eldridge Avenue, the <br />city Engineering Department has examined all driveways for <br />setback and code compliance. <br /> <br />The City of Roseville requires that all driveways be brought into <br />compliance with city code during a permanent street upgrading. <br />Driveways must be a minimum of five feet from neighboring <br />property lines and be a minimum of thirty feet from an <br />intersection right-of-way line. Currently, the east edge of your <br />driveway is approximately twenty-three feet from the Fernwood <br />Avenue right-of-way line. In order to comply with city code, <br />this must be re-built to a point thirty feet from the Fernwood <br />Avenue right-of-way line, or you may apply to vary from city code <br />by a "minor variance." I have enclosed an application for a <br />minor variance if you would prefer this option.
