Mr. <br />Jopke looked specifically for any reference to any commitments <br />made by Fine Associates to protect visibility and for any concern <br />expressed by businesses in the area concerning reduced visibility <br />because of the development of the PUD where Slumber land, <br />Investors Savings, Olive Garden and the Roseville Community Bank <br />are now operating. Mr. Jopke found the following: <br /> <br />October 6, 1988 Planning Commission minutes concerning the <br />development of Investors Savings Bank. <br /> <br />Michael Platt expressed concern about the development <br />on this parcel adversely affecting his business because <br />his business' visibility from County Road C and <br />Snellinq Avenue would be blocked. <br /> <br />Dahlqren encouraqed Platt to analyze the situation and <br />proDose siqnaqe chanqes that would help the visibility <br />of his business. <br /> <br />May 11, 1988 Planning Office Hours. <br /> <br />Mike Platt discusses signage changes at the former <br />Digbees restaurant because the development of the <br />former Dublic riqht-of~way obscures visibilitv of <br />northbound traffic on Snellinq Avenue. <br /> <br />February 24, 1989 Planning Office Hours. <br /> <br />Mike Platt expresses concern about a droD of business <br />at Fuddruckers restaurant and indicates he feels it is <br />due to a loss of visibility because of develoDment by <br />Fine Associates on the property Durchased from the <br />State. <br /> <br />Dahlgren suqqests chanqing signs sa better visibility <br />might result. <br /> <br />No record of any commitment by Fine Associates was found in <br />any files or minutes. <br />
