EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the City Hall on Monday, the 23rd day of July, 2001 at 6:30 p.m. The following members were present: Mastel, Maschka, Klausing, Goedeke, Kysylyczyn and the following were absent: None Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9913 CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR AN OPPORTUNITY GRANT THROUGH THE LIVABLE COMMUNITIES DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM FOR 2001 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville, Minnesota, is a participant in the Livable Communities Act's Housing Incentives Program for 2001 as determined by the Metropolitan Council, and is therefore eligible to make application for funds under the Livable Communities Demonstration Account; and, WHEREAS, the City has identified a proposed project within the City that meets the Demonstration Account's purpose and criteria; and, WHEREAS, the City has the institutional, managerial and financial capability to ensure adequate project administration; and, WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated in the contract agreements; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota agrees to act as legal sponsor for projects contained in the opportunity grant application submitted on August 1, 2001; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for this funding on behalf of the City of Roseville and to execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project on behalf of the applicant.
