As part of the process, we have already sent the required <br />infonnation to Ramsey County (see Attachment A for a copy of the cover letter). In addition, and in accordance with <br />Minnesota Statutes (Sec 273.124 Subd 6; Attachment B) which refers to Leasehold Cooperatives, we are to (1) <br />provide certain infonnation to the governing body of the municipality and (2) request the city to review, by public <br />hearing, the leasehold cooperative designation. <br /> <br />(]) Enclosed please find a copy of the following infonnation on the Calibre Ridge Cooperative: <br />Articles of Incorporation for the Calibre Ridge Cooperative <br />By-Laws of the Calibre Ridge Cooperative <br />Master Lease of Calibre Ridge <br />Certified Rent Roll which shows each tenant and their qualifying annual <br /> <br />income <br /> <br />Copy of the IRS 8609 Fonns which prove low income tax credit status <br /> <br />(2) This letter will serve as our request for the City of Roseville to hold a public hearing and make the following <br />findings: <br />· that the granting of the homestead treatment of the apartment's units will facilitate safe, clean, affordable <br />housing for the cooperative members that would otherwise not be available absent the homestead designation; <br />· that the owner has presented infonnation satisfactory to the governing body showing that the savings garnered <br />from the homestead designation of the units will be used to reduce tenant's rents or provide a level of <br />furnishing or maintenance not possible absent the designation; and <br />· that the requirements of Minnesota regulation See 273.124, Subd 6, paragraphs (b), (d), and (i) have been met. <br /> <br />If the above infonnation is acceptable to you, please let me know the status of your approval process of the Calibre <br />Ridge Cooperative.
