During the course of
the meeting, the following items were discussed:

1. Through on-going discussion, it was initially detennined that a 12' minimum width
emergency access and pedestrian bike path should be extended to Marion Street.
Through further discussion due to sensitivities of the existing neighbors, it was
determined that this should be shown as a 5' bike path as the Fire Marshal has
previously approved the plan utilizing the cul-de-sac drive arrangement. City staff
indicated that there is an existing retaining wall in this area for the adjacent
property Owner and this might impact the access width through this area. Also,
if this were used as an emergency access, the 12' width would be required
vertically also, such that any landscaping would not encroach in this area. Doug
indicated that there is an existing hydrant on Marion Street in the general
proximity of where this path would connect to Marion Street. A paved basketball
court will be shown at the termination of this path adjacent to the westernmost
parking stalls.

Architecture
Planning
Interior Design
