I had told you that the
County Attorney's office had certified that the property meets the statutory
requirements to be granted lease-hold cooperative status. It lacked only a publi~
hearing by the City of Roseville.

Accompanying this letter is the entire file of documentation, which includes the
following:

- A letter dated August 17, 1994 from M. Jean Stepan, Assistant Ramsey County
Attorney certifying that the property meets statutory requirements

- A letter dated August 11, 1994 to Ms. Stepan from Beth Haukebo of the Twin
Cities Housing Development Corporation

- Copies of the Articles of Incorporation of Calibre Ridge cooperative and other
documents relating to the makeup of this organization

- Copies of each of the leases for the various units in the Calibre Ridge
development

- Copies of the applications for homestead status for each of the unit~
-

I am also including three pages copied from the Minnesota Property Tax
Administrator's Manual. Ihese three paces relate to the subject of lease-hold
cooperatives. As I stated in our telephone conversation, these three pages explain the
various requirements that must be met for a project to qualify for lease-hold
cooperative status, and closely paraphrase the appropriate statute.

MiDDesota's First BODle Rule County
printed on recycled paper with. minimum or 10% poskJonsumer content
<e>
