<br />between <br /> <br />7:)(( A~\ <br />()-\ ')..q J- <br />~: ')- J- ~ .iIV'.. <br /> <br />HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIPS PROGRAM <br /> <br />AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THE COUNTY OF RAMSEY, AS A MEMBER OF THE ANOKA, DAKOTA, RAMSEY, <br />AND WASHINGTON COUNTIES HOME CONSORTIUM <br /> <br />AND <br /> <br />THE ROSEVILLE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION <br /> <br />This agreement entered into this <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />1992, <br /> <br />between the COUNTY OF RAMSEY, a political subdivision of the State of <br /> <br />Minnesota, hereinafter "COUNTY", and the CITY OF ROSEVILLE, acting by <br />the ROSEVILLE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION,a political subdivision of <br /> <br />the State of Minnesota, hereinafter "AGENCY". <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RECITALS <br /> <br />A. The COUNTY is a member of a Consortium composed of Anoka, <br />Dakota, Ramsey and Washington Counties, and an urban county <br />applicant for HOME funds under Home Investment Partnerships <br />Act, Title II of the Cranston-Gonzales National Affordable <br />Housing Act, Pub. Law No. 101-625, 42 U.S.C. §12701 et ~, <br />and will receive HOME funds for the purpose of carrying out <br />eligible housing activities under the Act, and under <br />regulations at 24 C.F.R. Part 92; <br /> <br />B. The COUNTY desires to have certain services performed by the <br />AGENCY as described within this agreement, and as authorized <br />by Resolutions of the Ramsey County Board for the purpose of <br />implementing eligible activities under the Act and applicable <br />regulations; <br /> <br />C. It is appropriate and mutually desirable that the AGENCY be <br />designated by the COUNTY to undertake the aforementioned <br />eligible activities, so long as the requirements of the Act, <br />applicable regulations, state law, and local law are adhered <br />to, as provided for herein; <br /> <br />D. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide for cooperation <br />between the COUNTY and the AGENCY, as the parties in this <br />agreement, in implementing such eligible activities in the <br />manner described above; <br />
