One of those steps included <br />departmental presentations that would allow individual City Departments to identify operational issues <br />and priorities that will impact the 2015 Budget; while also promoting an interactive exchange between <br />the Council and Staff regarding those issues. <br />At the May 22, 2014 Council meeting, each department will present a 5 -10 minutes overview with <br />additional time allotted for a question and answer period. <br />City Staff has not prepared any materials in advance of the meeting. The Council can expect a 1 -page <br />summary of each department's budget priorities and challenges to be handed out at the meeting. <br />POLICY OBJECTIVE <br />Not applicable. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />Not applicable. <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Not applicable. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />For information and discussion purposes only.
