ROBERT L. PETERSON
ATIORNEY AT LAW
2233 Hamline Avenue North
51. Paul, MN 55113
(612) 631-0678

January 23, 1995

Planning Commission
City of Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

Dear Planners:

I'm contacting you today on behalf of the Masonic Center on County
Road B-2 reference the property on 2426 Hamline.

According to the records at the County, the property is still just
one continuance lot, although we've seen a separate lot for sale
sign on the property. The center wants to go on record to object
any variance regarding the lot split of that property for the
following reasons: 1) The owners have taken down trees on the
property line, some of which were actually on Masonic Center's
property. 2) They've allowed dirt and debris to flow into the
storm drain which is on the property line. 3) They have allowed
heavy equipment and vehicles to pass over the parking lot causing
possible damage to the lot. They want the City to be aware of the
fact that any pluggage in that storm sewer drain that is on the
property line is through no fault of the Masonic Center and is
completely the fault of the property owners at 2426 Hamline.

They do not want to be unreasonable neighbors, but they expect to
be contacted when activities are going on that may affect their
property. If you have any further questions regarding this matter,
please feel free to call me. .

Sincerely,

~

Robert L. Peterson

RLP:cmb
