City staff has been reviewing the City's ordinances to <br />attempt to clarify what constitutes a minor change to <br />approved plans which can be approved by staff <br />administratively vs. what is a major change which would <br />require Planning Commission and City Council review. <br /> <br />2. City staff has discussed this matter with the Planning <br />commission and developed the attached ordinance. <br /> <br />3 . The planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of <br />the attached ordinance amendment relating to minor changes to <br />approved plans. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny approval of the ordinance amendment. <br /> <br />2. Approve the ordinance as presented. <br /> <br />Policy Obiectives: <br /> <br />1. To provide clear direction to staff concerning which types of <br />amendments to approved plans the Council wants to review. <br /> <br />2. To allow minor changes that do not affect original approvals. <br /> <br />3. To simplify the administrative review process where <br />possible. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the city council approve the attached <br />ordinance amendment defining the procedure for approving <br />minor changes to approved plans. <br /> <br />council Action Reauested: <br /> <br />1.
