Both my wife and I work and <br />require indoor parking for our vehicles (especially in <br />the wintertime) to ensure reliable transportation. As a <br />messenger/courier my vehicle is my job. My wife is employed <br />in Edina, MN and there is no alternative conveyance to her <br />job from Roseville. <br /> <br />In addition to the above, parking our vehicles indoors <br />prevents opportunities for easy access by vandals, <br />thieves, etc. <br /> <br />with this in mind, we originally sought to enlarge the <br />present garage to a double-car facility and found it to be <br />physically impossible to build laterally (east) due to lack <br />of room. <br /> <br />Our present plan is to build a double-car garage which <br />requires a 10'2" variance to the boulevard and a 9" variance <br />laterally (east). <br /> <br />8.
