' : ' ,¡ .¡ <br />'Dear Mr. Jensen: . <br /> <br />!. .- <br /> <br />";: - ,:; ~ j <br /> <br />I was recently contacted by a representative of strick Leasing <br />concerning a property they currently lease at 1920 County Road C. <br />Strick, within the last few months, moved their truck rental <br />operation to this site from a site at County Road C and Long Lake <br />Road. strick is apparently interested in purchasing the property <br />from Jim Trapp. The representative from strick Leasing asked if <br />they could expand the use on the site to include trailer sales. <br /> <br />In reviewing the file on this site, I found that the City in 1976 <br />apparently was in the process of issuing orders to cease use of <br />the property as a truck rental operation. The City considered <br />rezoning the property but ultimately amended the ordinance to <br />allow truck rental as a special use in the I-1 zoning district. <br />The City also approved a special use permit for a truck rental <br />operation on the site in question with the condition that the <br />permit would expire August 9, 1979.
