The ICO Gas station at 1681 Rice Street is· requesting an <br />interim use permit for up to three years for a temporary <br />structure to house equipment relating to the clean up of <br />ground water contamination from leaking underground tanks <br />which were removed in. 1989. <br /> <br />2. The Roseville Planning Commission unanimously recommended <br />approval of Inter City oil Company's request for an interim <br />use permit for three years at 1681 Rice Street. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the request based on the finding that the proposal would <br />be detrimental to the general health, safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />2 . Approve the request based on the finding that the proposal <br />will not be detrimental to the general health, safety, and <br />welfare. <br /> <br />policv Objectives: <br /> <br />1. To approve interim use permits for structures relating to <br />.clean up of service station sites. <br /> <br />2. To approve interim use permits where it is demonstrated that <br />the proposal would not be detrimental to the general health, <br />safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1.
