TED BRAUSEN
CHERYL BRAUSEN

BRAUSEN ENTERPRISES, INC.
2180 N. DALE ST. · ROSEVILLE, MN 55113 · 612-487-2502

City Of Roseville
2660 Civic Center Drive
Roseville, MN 55113

Apr i I 19, 1993

RE: 2164 - 2180 North Dale Street

To Whom It May Concern:

As we are rebuilding B-Dale Amoco, we have come across a number
of problems.

It has now come to our attention that the Brick on the existing
Station is a false brick, which has a tendency to falloff.

We also have a problem with several of the neighborhood children
using the walls to throw balls, glass bottles, etc. at, this
being used as their play area, which has resulted in having to
paint the building yearly. This would create a major problem if
stuccoed.

Our solution to this problem would be to Stucco the existing
station - that is going to be the Food Shop and paint the
North Side and 1/3 of the East Side of the existing building,
as I will continue to have to paint atleast once if not twice a
year.

The other problem we have come across is Signage. When this
project began I was told by your Staff that signage was not a
concern at that time, as it was a seperate issue that would be
dealt with near the completion of the project, I am now finding
out that this is not true. I am requesting Signage that is not
in the P.D.D., however, the sign that I am requesting is in the
guidelines of my signage ordinance.

I would appreciate your cooperation into looking into the above
concerns, and look forward to hearing from you soon.

S~erelY,

ßs¿:L

¿,.../'/J Theodore Brausen
