Lexington <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />1. The pylon sign at the Northstar Bank at 1820 N. Lexington <br />Avenue was constructed with an illegal setback. <br /> <br />2. The applicant has reque~ted a variance to allow the sign to <br />remain at its existing location. <br /> <br />3. The City council has placed a six month moratorium on the <br />review of sign variance applications. <br /> <br />4. In light of the moratorium, the applicant has requested the <br />application be withdrawn and will explore other options for <br />bringing the sign into compliance. <br /> <br />5. The Planning Commission unanimously accepted Graphic House <br />Inc.'s withdrawal of their request for a sign setback <br />variance at 1820 N. Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council accept Graphic House <br />Inc. 's withdrawal of a variance request for a sign setback <br />variance at 1820 N. Lexington Avenue. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1.
