<br />Feb~ua~y 10. 1992 <br /> <br />TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: <br /> <br />I would like to voice my conce~ns about and objections to <br />the ~equest by F~anklin Ho to ~ezone the p~ope~ty at 1935 <br />Cleveland Avenue North from R-1 to R-2 thereby changing the home <br />f~om a single family home to a two family dwelling. <br /> <br />The zoning regulations were developed for a reason and I <br />believe it makes sense to abide by them. Mr. Ho pu~chased <br />the house ~ecently and if he reallY wished a two famIly dwel lIng <br />he should have purchased a property that was zoned accordIngly. <br />HavIng observed the house beIng buIlt I do not belIeve It Is of <br />suItable design for a two family dwel ling. <br /> <br />People purchase homes In neighborhoods because they like a <br />pa~ticular neighborhood. The zoning laws were designed to <br />protect people from modIfIcatIons to their neIghborhood and I <br />believe they should be respected. <br /> <br />In summary I strongly object the request by Mr. Ho to <br />re-zone the property from R-l to R-2 ;;~~¿ t. :O:~d:nY this <br />~equest.
