We were told at a re-zoning meeting during the <br />1960's, to allow for the construction of the new ~.. 3 <br />apartments, that no further building could occur due to the <br />fact that the total land area was required to satisfy the <br />density requirement, further it was stated that a embankment <br />would be constructed to shield the single family homes from <br />the apartment sights and noise. If you like, you could <br />verify from your own minutes pertaining to these proceedings. <br /> <br />We like the existing park-like atmosphere of the embankment ( <br />(which incidentally, we keep mowed) and to allow further <br />construction would destroy this scenic barrier. We do not <br />think this property should be re-zoned again.
