399 <br />At the request of Mr. Goodwin, Chair Stenlund advised that this could affect <br />400 <br />smaller crews building a house or larger construction or street projects, with cases <br />401 <br />of water often used. <br />402 <br />403 <br />Mr. Goodwin noted, from the City's perspective as well as that of Eureka, that <br />404 <br />may indicate a drop -off for those sites, and could possibly be included as part of <br />405 <br />the permitting process for the City to provide containers for recycling and work <br />406 <br />with Eureka to pick -up dumpsters or containers. Mr. Goodwin noted that it would <br />407 <br />be harder to accomplish this with smaller home builders. <br />408 <br />409 <br />Chair Stenlund considered many MnDOT road projects during the summer <br />410 <br />construction season and the need to keep workers hydrated, which to him sounded <br />411 <br />like a great opportunity to pursue. Chair Stenlund also spoke in support of the <br />412 <br />zero waste aspect for community activities. <br />413 <br />414 <br />Member Lenz suggested persuading people not to use plastiNChair les with <br />415 <br />Chair Stenlund opining that while preferred, it wasn't alway o do so, <br />416 <br />when a safe water source needed to be ensured. <br />417 <br />418 <br />Regarding next year's report, at the request of Mr. Goodwin, lund <br />419 <br />clarified t hat he wanted the report to include any things that are not working, <br />420 <br />whether the single sort was equal or better than dual sort, or if there were other <br />421 <br />preferred options; and using the same dashboard to track both options. <br />422 <br />423 <br />Member Wozniak suggested that rather than waiting an entire year, Eureka be <br />424 <br />invited to make a quarterly report of that data. <br />425 <br />Page 10 of 12 <br />
