Bruce Anderson is requesting that the small piece of the <br />unused Aldine Street right-of-way lying south of Oakcrest <br />Avenue and dead ending into the Crossroads Shopping Center <br />property be vacated. Mr. Anderson owns property on both <br />sides of the street. <br /> <br />2. Mr. Anderson is also proposing to replat the lots on either <br />side of the street and the vacated right-of-way if approved <br />to provide an additional single family lot to be developed in <br />the area. <br /> <br />3. The Roseville Planning Commission, unanimously recommended <br />that the City council approve Bruce Anderson I s request for <br />vacation of right-of-way and preliminary plat approval at <br />1694, 1700, and 1708 Oakcrest Avenue. <br /> <br />City Attornev Comments <br /> <br />1. This item does not need any legal interpretation at this <br />time. This request is within the legal authority of the city <br />to grant or deny. <br /> <br />Alternatives: <br /> <br />1. Deny the request based on the finding that the proposal would <br />be detrimental to the general health, safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />2. Approve the proposal because it would not be detrimental to <br />the general health, safety, and welfare. <br /> <br />3. Approve the vacation and deny the plat based on the finding <br />that the proposed new lot would not meet the minimum lot <br />width requirements. <br /> <br />Policy Obiectives: <br />
