<br />EXHIBIT D <br /> <br />The request for variance is based on the following: <br /> <br />1, The driveway width is unchanged since the Henrys purchased th~ <br />property December 31, 1981. <br /> <br />2. The driveway is not oerpendicular to Simpson Street. The resulting <br />angle of the driveway inescapably increases the opening width. <br /> <br />3, The angle described in #2 above requires a shoulder flare for either access <br />or exit at both right and left of its opening. <br /> <br />4. No curbing exists to date on Simpson; thus there is no curbing rework. <br /> <br />5. There is no adverse effect on any adjoining property or on the city. <br /> <br />6. Adjacent property owners unanimously support the variance request. <br />
