June 3, 1994

Steve Sarkozy, City Manager
Mike Falk, City Planner
Dennis Welsch, Dir. COIIIDunity Development
2660 Civic Center DriV8'~
Rosevi11e, Minn. 55113

Following the meeting that we had June 1, 1994, I consulted
with the principals of the Parkridge Development and we concluded
the following would be in the best interest of all parties con-
cerned.

I - A continuation of both Council and Planning Commission
hearings until such time the comprehensive plan as pro-
posed by Vists 2000 be in place and approved ~ both
Council and Planning Commission.

2 - The Planning Commission felt that there was inadequate
information on site drainage and ponding. We have pro-
posed two options. It will take considerable time for
the Civil Engineers to prepare the documents. The doc-
uments must then be submitted to the City Engineer for
approval. It will be impossible to have these documents
prepared, for submission, for any near future hearings.

3 - We feel that the wide distribution of public hearing
notice should be confined to the three hundred fifty (350)
foot radius as mandated by code and ordinance, avoiding
confusion with other properties in the near vicinity
that are being considered for change in the comprehensive
plan.

4 - We respectfully request, that all public hearings as it
pertains to the Parkridge Development, be continued until
such time that the comprehensive plan, as proposed ~
Vista 2000 be completed and approved by the City Council
and Planning Commission.

Respectfully submitte
Parkridge Development Co.

OR J{~

Al Kehr: partner
