REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION

DATE: 4-25-94

ITEM NO.: D-l

DepartJnent Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section:
mF/~ ~
Consultant Review: John Shardlow Hearing
Item Description: Parkridge Development Corp. request for PUD concept
development plan approval, rezoning from R-l to Planned Unit
Development (PUD) at 674,656, and 646 W. Mr. Kehr'sapplication for rezoning to Planned Unit Development now
includes three lots, totalling 3.67 acres in size. The development plan
proposes 23 townhouse units for this site. Public hearings on this application
for rezoning were scheduled for April 13, 1994 by the Planning Commission
and April 25, 1994 by the City Council. During the review of this project, it
was detennined that the best course of action was to consider an amendment
to the Comprehensive Land Use Guide Plan prior to considering the request
for rezoning from single family to planned unit development.
