Contractor signs can
be of any size, shape, or quality.

PossmLE SOLUTION:

A general provision allowing a "non-illuminated sign announcing the names of architects,
engineers, contractors, or other individuals or firms involved with the construction, alteration or
repair of a building (but not including advertisement of any product) or announcing the
character if the building enterprise or purpose for which the building is intended. No more than one construction sign shall be allowed on each major street frontage
the project abuts. "

There are two ways to approach size:

1) Allow only one size for all Contractor Signs. i.e. "No contractor sign shall exceed 60
square feet. "

2) Regulate sign size by size of building being constructed:

Buildings 100,000 square feet and less are allowed one 48 square foot sign, buildings
101,000 - 250,000 square feet are allowed one 60 square foot sign and buildings over
250,000 square feet are allowed a 80 square foot sign.
