The City Council, in October, adopted a number of amendments <br />to the ci ty , s sign ordinance. Items concerning seasonal <br />banners and institutional signs (churches, parks, etc.) were <br />continued for further discussion. <br /> <br />2. The City Council discussed this matter at the January Work <br />Session and directed staff to do further research concerning <br />provisions relating to special events and off premise <br />directional signs. <br /> <br />3. The Planning commission continued further consideration of <br />the proposed amendments until March 10, 1993. <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation: <br /> <br />1. It is recommended that the City Council continue the hearing <br />on the amendments to the ci ty' s sign ordinance concerning <br />seasonal banners and institutional signs until March 22, <br />1993. <br /> <br />Council Action Requested: <br /> <br />1. Motion to continue a public hearing concerning seasonal <br />banners and institutional signs until March 22, 1993. <br />
