SURVEY:

Question: What code or ordinance requirements apply to the
placement of park signs? How far from the property line or
right-of-way?

Shoreview: Place park signs in 15' of right-of-way. Very
visible and have never had a p~oble~.

Maplewood: Follow city ordnance and place all park signs off the
right-of-way. Nobody seems to know the distance from the
property lien or right-of-way.

Mendota Heights: Place park signs in the right-of-way and get a
variance from the city council.

Inver Grove Heights: Place all park signs off the right-of-way
in compliance with city ordnance. The ordnance reads any sign
under 100 sq. ft. 10 feet from property line and over 100 sq. ft.
20 feet from property line.

Oakdale: Place park signs in right-of-way and have never had a
problem.
