The request is for use of a portion of Lot 5 for parking for approximately <br />20 cars on an interim basis and for placing a temporary off-premise sign on <br />Lot 3 to assist in selling an adjacent vacant lot (Lot 5) which has limited <br />visibility due to surrounding development. <br /> <br />12. The additional temporary parking spaces on Lot 5 will sol ve the employee <br />parking needs of Olive Garden Restaurant and eliminate the unsafe <br />conditions associated with the current remote employee parking. This will <br />not have a negative effect on property values. <br /> <br />The temporary off-premise sign advertising Lot 5 will assist in selling the <br />one remaining vacant lot (Lot 5) in the subdivision. Selling and putting <br />Lot 5 into development will increase property values and the tax base of <br />the City, and eliminate an under-utilized piece of property. <br />
