The proposed
addition would pro~ect no further than this existing entry.

Adj acent affected i n~ghbOrS have signed their approval of
the proposed variance\

The Minor Variance Co~ittee unanimously recommended approval
of Daniel and Elizabetb Jeans request for a minor variance at
272 Roma. The Committee believed that because the City has
previously granted a variance and that this addition would
project no further than the previous variance, that this was
a reasonable request.

Alternatives:

1. Deny the variance based on the finding that no hardship or
practical difficulty exists.

2. Grant the variance based on the finding that there is
hardship or practical difficulty present on the site.

Policy Objectives:

1. To insure that development occurs consistent with the City's
zoning ordinance and comprehensive plan.

2. To grant variances where hardships and/or practical
difficulties exist.
