By reducing the size of <br />the building it could be moved to the east and oriented towards <br />the west. The plan that we bring to you meets with the approval <br />of all the parties mentioned above and we look forward to <br />bringing it before you for your consideration. <br /> <br />1HE ~ROPOSED USE <br /> <br />Computer city is a retail merchant selling computer <br />systems and all the usual hardware and software that accompany <br />them. As such, the average expenditure by each customer is <br />greater than average and has a direct impact on low traffic <br />projection. Computer City is owned by Tandy corporation which is <br />America's largest retailer of electronics with over four billion <br />dollars of sales yearly. They have a location in Edina and plan <br />to open one more in the metropolitan area. They have adapted <br />their standard building to more readily fit this site, integrate <br />with Crossroads Center and reflect the comments made during their <br />last application. <br /> <br />III'1'EGRATION WITH HE SITE <br /> <br />By reducing the size of the building to 15,000 square <br />feet (you may recall that the standard Computer City building is <br />25,000 square feet and the last application was for 18,000 square <br />feet) the applicant was able to relocate the building to the east <br />with the entrance moved over 200 feet from the-prior access <br />point.
