EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 22nd day of March, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, V. Johnson and the following were absent: P. Johnson. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: vacation of a portion of Richmond Street (Chatsworth) Avenue, between county Road C-2 and Millwood Street. RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8907 WHEREAS, the city Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said portion of Richmond Avenue in the city of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, because the portion of Richmond Avenue is unimproved and not necessary for public street purposes; and WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said portion of Richmond Avenue. WHEREAS, on March 22, 1993, the City Council passed Resolution 8907 vacating a portion of Richmond Avenue. WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to amend the resolution to vacate only a portion of the right-of-way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates said portion of Richmond Avenue over the property described as follows: THE SOUTH 328.22 FEET OF THAT PORTION OF RICHMOND AVENUE IN SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 29, RANGE 23 LYING BETWEEN THE SOUTHLINE OF MILLWOOD AVENUE AND THE NORTH LINE OF COUNTY ROAD C-2. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None.
