<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 27th day of August 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Klausing, Mastel, Goedeke, Maschka, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Kysylyczyn introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9930 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A 1,008 <br />SQUARE FOOT DETACHED ACCESSORY BUILDING FOR PROPERTY LOCATED <br />AT 1166 LAURIE ROAD (pF 3325) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Fred and Laurie Boucher have requested a conditional use permit to <br />construct a 1,008 square foot detached accessory building in their rear yard in accordance with <br />Section 1004.01A4 and 1013.01 ofthe Roseville City Code; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Boucher property is located at 1166 Laurie Road and legally described <br /> <br />as: <br /> <br />Lot 9, Block 2 Golden Oaks" Ramsey County, Minnesota (PID # 102923440050). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A4 reads: Requirements For Increasing Maximum Size: <br />The size of detached accessory buildings may be increased from a total of 864 square feet to a <br />maximum total size of 1,008 square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council shall consider the following <br />criteria: <br /> <br />1. Impact on traffic. <br />2. Impact on parks, streets and other public facilities. <br />3. Compatibility of the site plan, internal traffic circulation, landscaping and <br />structures with contiguous properties. <br />4. Impact of the use on the market value of contiguous properties. <br />5. Impact on the general public health, safety and welfare <br />6. Compatibility with the City's Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Staffhas reviewed the development proposal <br />with regard to the criteria in Section 1013.01.D of the Roseville Zoning Ordinance and <br />concludes the following: <br /> <br />A. The proposed detached accessory building will not create additional traffic nor <br />the need for additional public facilities. <br /> <br />1 <br />
