<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of September 2001, at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Klausing, Ooedeke, Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Mastel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9934 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A 3.7% (363) SQUARE FOOT VARIANCE TO <br />SECTION 1004.01A6 AND A SIX FOOT VARIANCE TO SECTION 1004.01E <br />OF THE ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />1858 HAMLINE AVENUE (pF 3334). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Robert Reichenbach has requested variances to Section 1004.01A6 and <br />1004.01E of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of a kitchen and porch addition <br />onto his home; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Reichenbach (Oail Anderson) property is located at 18589 Hamline <br />Avenue, legally described as: <br /> <br />The West 158feet of the North 1/2 of the South 125feet of the North 15/32 of Northwest <br />1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 15, Township 29, Range 23, according to the United <br />States Government Survey thereof and situate in Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br />(PIN: #152923420122). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01A6 (Maximum Total Surface Area) limits a lot or parcel to <br />an impervious (structures and pavement surfaces) coverage of30%; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Reichenbach has an existing impervious coverage of 31.3% or 3,090 <br />square feet; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Section 1004.01E states: Exception: If after May 21, 1959, existing houses <br />on 50% of more of the frontage on any block have a predominant front yard different from that <br />herein specified, all buildings hereafter erected shall conform to this predominant front yard <br />depth, provided this regulation shall not be interpreted so as to require a front yard of more than <br />40 feet in depth; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has determined that the <br />Reichenbach home has a predominant setback of 40 feet from the front property line adjacent to <br /> <br />1 <br />
