Attachment A <br />PotentialProjectsforLocalConsideration <br />1.1 Inform Roseville Businesses of City and other Resources for <br />The majority of these 41 businesses are considering expanding (5 <br />(12%), and/or renovating (12%). See Charts 3-3 and 3-5. This is a tremendous opportunity for <br />business development. Roseville could provide small businesses <br />programs and any complementary financing programs from DEED, Ramsey County or other <br />entities via a communications campaign. Elements of the campaig <br />the North Metro Chamber or St. Paul Chamber, emails to the D&B list that was used to select the <br />businesses for the BR&E visits and through P.R. and paid adverti <br />write-up or well designed flyer that is clear and concise would <br />sponsor workshops on the topic and attend existing meetings where Roseville businesses gather. <br /> <br />1.2 Sponsor Consulting Assistance for Business Planning <br />The data show that 46 percent of the respondents have no written business plan. WhatÔs more, <br />27 percent have no succession plans. If the 41 business respond <br />a statistically valid sample, yet it still sheds some light on i <br />community in the City), then this is an opportunity for the comm <br />strengthen their planning process. Possible sources of one-to-o <br />chapter of SCORE in St. Paul., the Small Business Development Ce <br />Thomas or a private consultant. SCORE and SBDC provide services <br />businesses.
