Roll Call <br /> Mayor Roe called the meeting to order at approximately 6:00 p.m. Voting and Seating <br /> Order: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. City Manager Patrick Trudgeon <br /> and City Attorney Mark Gaughan were also present. <br /> 2. Approve Agenda <br /> McGehee moved, Etten seconded approval of the agenda as presented. <br /> Roll Call <br /> Ayes: McGehee; Willmus; Laliberte; Etten; and Roe. <br /> Nays: None. <br /> 3. Public Comment <br /> Mayor Roe called for public comment by members of the audience on any non-agenda <br /> items. No one appeared to speak. <br /> 4. Council Communications, Reports, and Announcements <br /> Mayor Roe announced several upcoming events: <br /> • May 15, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers — Bravery and merit <br /> awards and recognition of local citizens and police officers; <br /> • May 22, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. at Roseville City Hall — Racism Forum sponsored and <br /> hosted cooperatively by the St. Paul Foundation and the Roseville Human Rights <br /> Commission(Free to the public,but space limited to twenty-five people); <br /> Mayor Roe noted that this was a municipal election year for the City of Roseville; with <br /> two City Councilmember seats and one Mayor seat up for election. Mayor Roe advised <br /> that candidate filing at a fee of$5.00 fee ran May 20 through June 3, 2014 during regular <br /> business hours at City Hall; and on June 3rd , filing would be extended until 5:00 p.m. <br /> Additional information available on line at the City's website at ka- <br /> ri.collins@ci.roseville.mn.us or by calling Administrative Assistant/City Clerk Kari Col- <br /> lins at 651/792-7023. <br /> Mayor Roe announced the publication of the history of the League of Women Voters of <br /> Roseville, Maplewood and Falcon Heights entitled "Meddlers, Activists and Watch- <br /> dogs;" available in limited copies at area libraries and City Halls in Roseville, Maple- <br /> wood and Falcon Heights. Mayor Roe noted that a display was also available at the Ro- <br /> seville City Hall of historical documents and artifacts celebrating the League's key role in <br /> development of these north suburban suburbs documenting their sixty plus years of in- <br /> volvement.
