He provided a copy for the Commission. <br />Chair Groff stated there would be some overlap between the article and the scheduled dialogue. <br />He would bring this up at the event. <br />Commissioner Slade stated the dialogue title "White People Facing Race" could have something <br />to do with the low attendance. <br />Ms. Collins stated the title used is what was presented. <br />Rosefest Parade Update <br />66 Ms. Collins the Commission had requested a car for the parade. The Commission would need to <br />67 determine if they plan on utilizing this vehicle for the parade and if not then let the organizers <br />6s know as soon as possible. <br />6� <br />70 <br />�1 <br />�2 <br />�3 <br />74 <br />75 <br />76 <br />77 <br />�g <br />�� <br />Chair Groff stated there would also be a dance group with the Human Rights Commission group. <br />They could do dance routines when the parade is stopped. He had told the group that water <br />would be available. <br />Ms. Collins suggested letting them know the parade is expected to be long. She asked if the <br />essay winners would be participating in the parade as well. <br />It was the consensus of the Commission to invite the essay contestants to participate in the <br />parade. <br />go Youth Commissioner Dao stated she would be able to get a quote once she knows the <br />g1 dimensions of the pole that will be used to hold the banner. They will need 2-3 weeks to make a <br />82 banner. <br />83 <br />84 <br />gs <br />g6 <br />g� <br />gg <br />g9 <br />�o <br />Ms. Collins stated she would check with the Parks and Recreation Department to see what is <br />available. She suggested asking if they sell the poles with the banner. She suggested setting a <br />maximum amount for the banner based on the budget. She stated the volunteer coordinator <br />would be starting next week and they may be able to coordinate with volunteers on making a <br />banner or sign for the HRC for next year's parade. <br />Chair Groff stated they could reuse signs the signs from last year. <br />
