<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 24th day of September 2001, at 6:30 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Mastel, Klausing, Goedeke and Kysylyczyn <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Council Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9938 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR <br />ADVENT LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3000 HAMLINE AVENUE. <br />ALLOWING CONSTRUCTION OF A 1,200 SQUARE FOOT <br />ACCESSORY BUILDING (PF3340) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Advent Lutheran Church, an R-l Zone, has requested a conditional use <br />permit to construct a 30-foot by 40-foot (1,200 square feet) accessory structure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Advent Luther Church property is located at 3000 Hamline Avenue, <br />legally described as: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Advent Luther Church property is located at 3000 Hamline A venue, legally <br />described as: <br /> <br />The west four hundred thirty-eight (w. 438) feet of Government Lot three (3) except the <br />South one thousand (S. 1000)feet thereof, Section three (3), Township twenty nine (29) <br />North, Range twenty-three (23) West, lying South of the North boundary of Josephine <br />Road (PID # 032923130077). <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 1004.01A4 of the City Code in order to <br />construct the requested 1,200 square foot building, a variance and conditional use permit must be <br />obtained; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, under Section 1004.01A4 of the City Code, Requirements for Increasing <br />Maximum Size of an accessory building, the following criteria must be addressed: <br /> <br />1. Impact on traffic; <br />2. Impact on parks, streets and other public facilities; <br />3. Compatibility of the site plan, internal traffic circulation, landscaping and <br />structures with contiguous properties; <br />4. Impact of the use on the market value of contiguous properties; <br />5. Impact on the general public health, safety and welfare; and <br />6. Compatibility with the City's Comprehensive Plan <br />
