on May 26, 1995 for the purpose of making.an on site inspection of
a non-grade patio, approximately 12x12 feet, which was situated

under a partially completed raised deck on the lake side of the

home at the above address. With me at the time of my inspection
was a homeowner, Charles Kadrie, attorneys for the City and Mr.
Kadrie and the City of Roseville building inspector.
The surface of the on deck patio consisted of 2x6 boards. I

removed two of those boards that were closest to the house at the

walk-out basement level. I found that the 2x6 floor boards were

nailed to 2x4 sleepers laid on a bed of sand and not attached to

the house in anyway whatsoever.

At the very end of the on grade patio (or the lake side), a

2x6 ran parallel to the house to which the 2x4 sleepers were

nailed.

This 2x6 was also just sitting on the ground with no

footing support.

My inspection was clear that the on grade patio was not

attached or affixed to the house (walk-out basement level) in any

way, but rather was simply "snug" up next to it.

Dated:

7hr/~.r
/ ,.

SAYETH NOT.

BY~~¿

LOren Kohrien

FURTHER YOUR AFFIANT

Subscribed and sworn to before me
this ðt.s1b- day of ~~ , 1995.

2
