<br />August 12, 1993 <br /> <br />Dear Neighbor, <br /> <br />We will be constructing an 8' x 16' storage shed on the northwest corner of our property located <br />at 1893 Huron Street. <br /> <br />Roseville's city code requires a structure to be 5 feet from surrounding property lines, UNLESS <br />those surrounding property owners grant permission to construct a building closer to their <br />property line. The majority of the garages and storage sheds in our area have been built 3 feet <br />from their surrounding property lines. This would allow us to keep as much usable yard space as <br />possible and still have plenty of room for maintenace around the shed. <br /> <br />As a neighbor bordering the location of our proposed shed we are asking you to grant your <br />permission to build our storage shed 3 feet from the rear (west) and 3 feet from the side (north) <br />boundaries of our property. This is the same distance that the yellow garage located at 1866 <br />Hamline is from its respective property lines. <br />\ <br /> <br />I have enclosed a drawing of our proposal for you to review. This proposed storage shed is <br />scheduled to be constructed on a concrete slab to prevent rodents from nesting under the shed. <br />If this meets with your approval, please sign the bottom of this letter and return it in the <br />envelope provided.
