Mn/DOT has come to the following conclusions.

The proposal to move the access 60 feet north will not appreciably change conditions as the driveway
would still be in the right turn lane. We will not require a new permit for the access at this time.

Mn/DOT is responsible the safety and operation of the highway for the traveling public. If an accident
problem develops at this location. the course of action avaj]ab]e to Mn/DOT to fulfill its responsibility
is condemnation the TH 51 access. It is our intention to do so should it become necessary.

Mn/DOT is supportive of any internal site circulation limitations that will minimize use of the access.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

~twJ <£ ~bB7'

Cyrus Knutson
Transportation Planner

cc: Mike Falt, City of Roseville
Jerome Slawik, Harold J S]awik Properties
Gregory D Soule, Best & Flannagan
Gary Vogel.
