At the March 91 1994 Planning Commission meeting, the Commission recommended <br />approval of Mr. A1 Kebr's request to change the Comprehensive Plan land use designation <br />on his property located at 674, 656t and 646 W County Road C trom Low Density <br />Residential (LD) to Medium Density Residential (MD). At the March 28. 1994 City Council meeting, the CounciJ took no action on the Kehr <br />property recommendation. Tþe Council chose to detay taking any action on 'Ute Kehr <br />p'rQPerty until after the Plannim}; Comnùssion had held a hearing (4/13/94) and had made!l <br />recommendation on the broader area, _ The hearing notice on these potential <br />Comprehensive Plan amendments was widely distributed at the request of the Planning <br />Commission and City Council. From the testimony and discussion at the meetings, it is <br />clear that residents are confused about the differences between Comprehensive Plan <br />amendments, rezonings, the timing offuture roadway extensions and actual development <br />proposals. <br /> <br />3. At the April 13, 1994 Planning Commission meeting) the residents expressed their <br />opposition to the potential changes in the comprehensive plan. )'he Planning Commission, <br />tecommended denj111 Df au}' changes in the Comprehensive Plan land us~ desi.gnation~ <br />!ncluding the Kehr property...
